More Than I Could Chew

After successfully creating a custom theme for my Wordpress front end, I thought it’d be a neat idea to theme the back end as well. How hard could it be?

Hours later… I found out. VERY!

At first I was encouraged. I was able to format the header, navigation, and dashboard. Then I tackled the new post area. What a nightmare! There are dozens of divs, all with a specific purpose, and it is enough to make your head swim. Add to it that there is some javascript voodoo going on with the collapsible, right-column menus, and I gave up!

So, for now, I guess I’ll have to be satisfied to leave well enough alone. That is, unless someone can share a hidden, mystical truth about Wordpress that can help me along.
